From the north or north-east |

Take the Italian motorways south, through Bologna to Firenze-Scandicci. Then take the Pisa-Livorno Superstrada . Rejoin the motorway at Collesalvetti as far as Rosignano Solvay (Grosseto/Roma). In Rosignano continue on the Superstrada signed to Grosseto/Roma as far as Venturina / Piombino.
Take the Suvereto exit off the roundabout and follow the signs for Suvereto (about 10 km). |

Take the Brenner or the Tarvis through Bologna to Firenze-Scandicci. Then follow the instructions above. |

Take the Italian motorways through Turin/Milan-Genoa-La Spezia right up to Rosignano and then follow the instructions above. A toll fee is payable on Italian motorways. Tickets are normally distributed on entry to the motorway. From the Italian border to Rosignano costs between 25 and 40 Euros, depending on the route. |
